Meet Becker Animal Hospital’s dedicated veterinarians & staff

Dr. Kathy Ilyukhina received her degree with honors from Moscow State Academy. She worked in Moscow in a referral center. After relocating to the United States, she worked in private practice for 10 years before coming to Becker Animal Hospital in 2007. Dr. Ilyukhina’s interests include reading, hiking, and the outdoors.

Dr. Robert Liebman received his B.S. from the Honors College at Michigan State University and his DVM from the University of Illinois. After working in both private practice and animal control work in Chicago, he joined Becker Animal Hospital in 2002. Dr. Liebman’s interests include computers and science fiction.

Dr. Mary Dombeck received a B.S. in biology from Virginia Tech and joined the Peace Corps as a health education volunteer in Mali, West Africa immediately after finishing college.

In 2010, Mary was awarded her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Ross University on the island of St. Kitts in the West Indies. While in vet school, Mary completed a year of clinical veterinary training at Auburn University in Auburn, AL. Mary worked in Connecticut and Chicago before coming to Becker Animal Hospital.Outside of veterinary medicine, Mary enjoys traveling with her husband and spending time with her family. Kayaking, canoeing, camping and hiking are a few of her favorite past times.

Dr. Josh Heise received his DVM from the University of Wisconsin - Madison.  He practiced for several years in rural Ohio before coming to Becker.  Dr. Heise's interests include biking, hiking and baking.
